Dating to 1998, this early Supreme workwear jacket comes from the period surrounding the opening of Supreme Daikanyama in Tokyo—the brand's first retail location outside of New York.

The jacket draws heavily from classic American workwear, reflecting Supreme's early practice of reinterpreting familiar uniforms, logos and visual codes through the lens of New York skate culture. Pieces from this period are often associated with Supreme's Carhartt-inspired designs, alongside the better-known Patagonia-inspired releases from the same era.
